(1)This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Police Act, 2007.(2)It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.(3)It extends to the whole of the State of Chhattisgarh, and to the Police officers of the State of Chhattisgarh deployed outside the State.
