Section 16(2) in The U.P. Co-Operative Service Rules, 1979
(2)The Commission shall, having regard to the need for securing due representation on the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other categories in accordance with Rule 6, call for interview such number of candidates as they consider proper and who fulfil the requisite qualifications.
