78. Factories and building of the ware house class.
(1)Every room in such building shall be lighted and ventilated by sufficient number of windows, ventilators and skylight exclusive of doors having clear opening not less 1/15 of the floor area abutting such open space: provided that this requirement may be relaxed if artificial lighting and ventilation are installed to the satisfaction of the Authority.(2)The height of the ground floor and each of the upper floors shall not be less than 4.2m and 3.9m respectively and the height of the cellar of basement shall in no part be less than 2.4m provided that these rules shall not apply to the extension of the ground floor and upper floors of the existing building.
