Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board (Submission of Annual Report) Rules, 1982Published vide Punjab Government Notification No. GSR 34/P.A/28/76/Sections 42 and 71/82, dated 11th February, 1982No. G.S.R. 34/P.A. 28/76/Sections 42 and 71/82. - With reference to Government of Punjab, Department of Local Government, Housing and Urban Development, Notification No. G.S.R.72/P.A.28/76/Section 71/81, dated the 29th July, 1981, and in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (k) of sub-section (2) of Section 71, read with Section 42 of the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board Act, 1976 (Punjab Act No. 28 of 1976), the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following rules, namely :-

1. Short title and commencement.

(1)These rules may be called the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board (Submission of Annual Report) Rules, 1982.
(2)They shall came into force at once.

2. Submission of Annual Report [Section 42(1)].

- The Board shall within six months of the date of the closing of each year submit to the Government its Annual Report giving an account of its activities during the year in the Form appended to these rules.Form(See Rule 2)Annual Report of the Punjab Supply and Sewerage Board for the year --- 19I. (4)Field Officers :V. Activities of the Board :VI. Works :"(A) Works with budget outlay of Rs. 5 lacs or above, in hand, in various towns of the State.
(B)
(i)Local authority-wise summary of Works other than those covered to 'A' above regarding Water Supply in hand, in various towns of the State.
(ii)Local authority-wise summary of works other than those covered to 'A' above regarding Sewerage in hand, in various towns of the State.
Note. - Here the works of a local authority covered under this category i.e. 'B' have to be totalled up and only cumulative position is to be indicated in brief.VII. Target and Achievements

(i)Physical progress to be given separately against group of projects such as International Development Association, Life Insurance Corporation and Housing and Urban Development Corporation, etc.
(ii)Progress to be indicated for important items of work such as W/S Distribution mains, Tube-wells, Over Head Service Reservoirs, Sewer mains, etc.
