Section 1 in Karnataka Agricultural Produce Marketing Act 1966
1. Short title extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the [Karnataka] [Adapted by the Karnataka Adaptations of Laws Order 1973 w.e.f. 01.11.1973.] Agricultural Produce Marketing [(Regulation and development)] [Substituted by Act 23 of 2007 w.e.f. 16.08.2007.] Act 1966.(2)It extends to the whole of the [State of Karnataka.] [Adapted by the Karnataka Adaptations of Laws Order 1973 w.e.f. 01.11.1973.](3)It shall come into force on such [date] [Act came into force on 01.05.1968 by notification. The text of the notification is at the end of the Act] as the State Government may by notification appoint.
