Section 6 in The Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council Act, 1988
6. Delimitation of constituencies. -
(1)There shall be 28 constituencies covering the hill areas for election to the General Council. Each constituency shall be a single member constituency and shall be territorial.(2)The Government shall, by order published in the Official Gazette, determine the territorial limits of constituencies into which the hill areas shall be delimited for the purpose of election of members to the General Council.
