Section 1 in Tamil Nadu Tax On Entry of Motor Vehicles to Local Areas Act, 1990
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Tax on Entry of Motor Vehicles into Local Areas Act, 1990.(2)[It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint] [These words were added as per Gazette No 217 dated 14.10.2015.] It extends to the whole of the State of Tamil Nadu.(3)It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 20th February, 1990.
