57. Pension, insurance and provident fund of staff of University, etc.
(1)The University shall make provisions for the benefit of its officers, teachers and other employees in such matters as insurance, pension, provident fund or other benefits as it may deem fit, in such manner and subject to such conditions as may be prescribed by the Statutes.(2)The governing body of any affiliated college and of a recognised institution shall make adequate provisions for the benefit of the members of the teaching and of other academic and non-teaching staff of such college or institution in matters of pension, insurance and provident fund or for other benefits as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
