Section 331C in Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in Lok Sabha
331C. Departmentally Related Standing Committees.
(1)There shall be Departmentally Related Standing Committees of the Houses (to be called the Standing Committees).(2)The Ministries/Departments covered under the jurisdiction of each of the Standing Committees shall be as specified in the Fifth Schedule:Provided that the Chairperson, Rajya Sabha and the Speaker may alter the said Schedule from time to time in consultation with each other.
