3. Appointment of Licensing Office.
- The State Government may, by Notification,-(a)appoint any officer not below the rank of a Divisional Forest Officer to be a Licensing Officer for the purposes of this Act; and(b)define the local limits within which a Licensing Officer shall exercise powers conferred, and perform the duties imposed, on a Licensing Officer by or under this Act.
