Section 76(3) in Rajasthan Land Revenue (Land Records) Rules, 1957

(3)Kacha pucca well or pseudo-masonry well is one whose "Dhana" or the upper structure is done in masonry find the rest is Kacha.
(iii)The Patwari at the time of harvest inspections shall enquire as to which wells, tanks, etc., have been used for irrigation purposes during the year and shall write the word "Challoo" when in use, and the word "Gair Challoo" when out of use, together with any change about the kind of the well, in red ink for each harvest every year.
(iv)If a new well has been constructed and has become available for irrigation during the year, the Patwari shall write the words "Naya Kuan" in the column for changes 16, 24, 32 and 50. All entries in respect of a new well shall be made in red.
(v)If a well has collapsed or has finally gone out of use on account of the absence of water or some other similar reasons, the Patwari shall write "Kauri Toota hywa", as the case may be, in the column for changes. If an old well, which had ceased to be used for reasons noted above, is repaired and made available for irrigation, it will be recorded as repaired well or "Marammat Hokar Jari" in red, in the column for changes.
(vi)At the end of the last Gasht Girdawari, the Patwari shall sum up at the end of appropriate columns, the total number of wells, tanks, etc. used for irrigation and shall also specify the total of each source of irrigation used or not for the purpose during the year, the totals of new and old wells and the totals of Pucca and Kachha wells being shown separately.
