Section 49(1) in The Mizoram Autonomous District Council (Constitution and Conduct of Business of the District Councils) Rules, 1974
(1)If a member funds that at any time he is unable to attend the meeting of the District Council for a period of thirty consecutive days computed in the manner provided in sub-rule (5) of Rule 17, he shall apply to the Chairman for the permission of the District Council to be so absent.
