(3)The Vice-Chancellor or, in his absence, [***] [Omittted 'the Principal Dean of Studies and, in the absence of both' by Act No. 1 of 2005.] [the Pro-Vice-Chancellor and, in the absence of both] [Inserted by Act No. 7 of 2009.], any one of its members chosen from among themselves for the occasion by the members of the Syndicate present, shall preside over a meeting of the Syndicate.
