39. Conditions of Service.
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Adhiniyam, the appointment, procedure for selection, pay and allowances and other conditions of service of officers, teachers and other employees of the Vishwavidyalaya shall be such as may be prescribed.(2)No person shall be appointed as a salaried teacher of the Vishwavidyalaya, except on the recommendations of a selection committee constituted for the purpose in accordance with the provisions of the statutes.(3)The payment of salaries to the officers, teachers and other employees of the Vishwavidyalaya shall be in accordance with the scales fixed by statute with prior approval of the State Government.(4)The number of officers, teachers and other employees of the Vishwavidyalaya and the method of their selection shall, unless otherwise provided in this Adhiniyam be such as may be prescribed.Chapter-VII Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations
