Section 28(iv) in The Punjab Capital (Development and Regulation) Building Rules, 1952
(iv)Where the water-closet room in a building is not connected to exterior it shall be ventilated by mechanical means or through a duct of minimum area of 1 sq. mt. with a minimum width of 0.9 metre.
