Section 2(f) in Manipur International University Act, 2018
(f)"Faculty" means Professors, Additional Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and such other persons as may be appointed for imparting education, teaching and instruction or conducting research in the University or in any College or Institution maintained by the University and also means a person giving instructions / teaching on behalf of the University, in the teaching department / School of the University, constituent or affiliated college / school / institute, and includes a Principal, Reader, Lecturer, Demonstrator, Director, Teacher, and such member of staff of a University Library and all those who may be declared and designated as Faculty by the Academic Council of the University or by the Chancellor of the University;
