17. Dean of Faculty.
(1)Each Faculty of the Vishwavidyalaya shall have a Dean, who shall be a whole time salaried officer of the Vishwavidyalaya appointed by the Vice-Chancellor in such manner prescribed and on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed.(2)The Dean of each Faculty shall be the Chief Executive and Academic Officer of the Faculty responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for its administration.
