Section 2B(1) in The Kerala Protection of River Banks and Regulation of Removal of Sand Act, 2001
(1)The Commissioner of Land Revenue shall be the authorised officer to exercise overall supervision of the implementation of the provision of this Act and he shall be assisted by an officer not below the rank of Joint Land Revenue Commissioner entrusted by the Government for the purpose.
