Section 3 in Jharkhand University of Technology Act, 2011
3. Establishment and Incorporation of the University.
- (i) The University shall be construed to have come into existence from the date of notification in the official Gazette.(ii)The University shall be known by the name of The Jharkhand University of Technology, and shall have its headquarters at Ranchi.(iii)The Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, and the members of the Governing Body and Executive Council and the Academic Council for the time being holding office shall constitute a body Corporate by the name of the Jharkhand University of Technology.(iv)The University shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and shall sue and be sued by the said name.
