Section 49(2) in The Nalanda Open University Act, 1995
(2)The Commission constituted under sub-section (1) shall inquire into and report on the following :-(i)the working of the University;(ii)the financial condition of the University, its study centres and other academic institutions;(iii)any change to be made in the provisions of this Ordinance, the Statutes, the Ordinances and the Regulations with a view to bringing about improvements;(iv)Such other matters as may be referred to it by the State Government.
