Section 8(1)(b) in The Maharashtra Employees of Private Schools (Conditions of Service) Rules, 1981

(b)the post of Assistant Head, and the number of posts of Supervisors and other teaching and non-teaching staff, shall be determined on the basis of the strength of students on the roll or the number of divisions of the school, as the case may be, as on the 1st August of a year.
