(1)Whoever, being a police officer;(a)will fully breaches or neglects to follow any legal provision, procedure, rules, regulations applicable to members of the Police Service; or(b)without lawful reason, fails to register a First Information Report as required by Section 154 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act No 2 of 1974); or(c)is found in a state of intoxication, while on duty; or(d)malingers or feigns illness or injury or voluntarily causes hurt to himself with a view to evading duty; or(e)acts in any other manner unbecoming of a police officer; shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months or with a fine or both.
