Section 14(a) in Model Rules, 2011 under Bengal Ferries Act, 1885
(a)Every licensed boat when plying shall carry on board its license which shall be produced when required by the police or any officer duly authorized by the District Magistrate or the Registering officer or the Boat Surveyor :
