Section 37 in The Buildings And Other Construction Workers (Regulation Of Employment And Conditions Of Service) Act, 1996
37. Canteens, etc. The appropriate Government may, by rules, require the employer-
(a)to provide and maintain in every place wherein not less than two hundred and fifty building workers are ordinarily employed, a canteen for the use of the workers;(b)to provide such other welfare measures for the benefit of building workers as may be prescribed.
