Section 13(1) in The Tamil Nadu Animals and Birds in Urban Areas (Control and Regulation) Rules, 1997
(1)The Licensing Officer shall issue in Form VI any temporary permit valid for three days from the date of issue of such permit to any person for transport of animals or birds into the town or city and from any part of the town or city to any slaughter house within or outside the municipal limits, on an application given by any person in Form VII to the Licensing Officer.
