Section 3 in Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Heritage Area Development Authority Act, 2018

3. Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Heritage Area Development Authority.

(1)As soon as may be, after the commencement of this Act, there shall be constituted for the purpose of this Act, an Authority to be called the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Heritage Area Development Authority.
(2)The Authority shall have its headquarters at Bengaluru.
(3)The Authority shall be a body corporate by the name aforesaid, having perpetual succession and a common seal with power to acquire, hold and dispose of property, both movable and immovable, and enter into contract, and shall by the said name sue and be sued.
(4)The Authority shall consist of the following members, namely:-
(a) The Chief Minister, Chairperson
(b) The District incharge Minister of Ramanagar Vice Chairperson
(c) The Minister for Revenue Ex-officio Member
(d) The Minister for Kannada and Culture Ex-officio Member
(e) Members of Parliament of Bengaluru RuralLokasabha Constituency, One Rajyasabha Member who represents theBengaluru Urban and Members of State Legislative Assembly ofYelahanka and Magadi Constituencies Members
(f) The Mayor, Bruhath Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Ex-officio Member
(g) The Additional Chief Secretary or PrincipalSecretary or Secretary to Government, Revenue Department Ex-officio Member
(h) The Additional Chief Secretary or PrincipalSecretary or Secretary to Government, Finance Department Ex-officio Member
(i) The Additional Chief Secretary or PrincipalSecretary or Secretary to Government, Kannada and Culture -Department Ex-officio Member
(j) The Principal Secretary or Secretary toGovernment, Tourism Department Ex-officio Member
(k) The Commissioner of Authority Member Secretary
(l) Six non-official members, who are expert inhistory and heritage of - Nadaprabhu Kempegowda, to be nominatedby the State Government Non-official Members
