Section 1 in Bihar Preservation and Improvement of Animals Act, 1955
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Bihar Preservation and Improvement of Animals Act, 1955.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Bihar.(3)This Section shall come into force at once and the remaining provisions of this Act, or any of them, shall come into fore in any area on such date as the State Government may, by notification-appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provision and for different areas.
