Section 18(1) in The Calcutta Metropolitan Water And Sanitation Authority Act, 1966
(1)The Board shall appoint for the Authority a General Manager, who shall have administrative experience and be preferably an engineer. He shall have, in addition to the functions and duties specified elsewhere in this Act, such functions and duties as may be provided by regulations.
