Section 1(2) in The Maharashtra Water Conservation Corporation Act, 2000
(2)It shall extend to the whole of the State of Maharashtra excluding the notified cantonment and urban areas, but shall cover irrigation project schemes having irrigable command area up to [600] [Substituted '250' by Maharashtra Act No. 52 of 2018, dated 10.8.2018.] hectares.
