Section 11(7)(a) in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities Act, 2008

(a)Every Member of the Executive Council other than Ex-officio Member shall hold office during the pleasure of the Governor. Provided that such member shall be eligible for re-nomination, so however that no such member shall hold office successively for more than two terms;
