Section 23(1) in The Himachal Pradesh Police Act, 2007
(1)The Civil Police shall comprise of Officers of Himachal Pradesh Police other than Armed Police, and the strength of various cadres of the Civil Police shall be as prescribed by the State Government from time to time.
