Section 1 in The U.P. Village Forests Joint Management Rules, 1997
1. Short title, application and commencement.
(1)These rules may be called the Uttar Pradesh Village Forests joint Management Rules, 1997.(2)They shall apply to such Village Forests in Uttar Pradesh as are not governed by the Uttar Pradesh Panchayati Forest Rules, 1976.(3)They shall come into force with effect from the date of their publication in the official Gazette.
