Section 1 in Jammu and Kashmir Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2010
1. Short title, extent and commencement
(1) This Act maybe called the Jammu and Kashmir Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2010.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Jammu and Kashmir.(3)It shall come into force on such [date as the Government may, by notification in the Government Gazette, appoint] [Enforced on 12.7.2011 vide SRO 210, dated 12.07.2011.].
