(a)On and from the date on which this Act comes into force in respect of post-graduate education and research, the Jawaharlal Nehru University as constituted under the Jawaharlal Nehru University Act, 1966 (Act No. 53 of 1966) shall cease to exercise jurisdiction over the Centre of Post-Graduate Studies, Imphal;
