Section 24(1) in The Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University Act, 2008
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, the Ordinances may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely,-(a)the admission of students, the courses of study and the fees thereof, the qualifications pertaining to the award of degrees, diplomas, certificates and other academic distinctions, the conditions for the grant of fellowships and the awards and the like;(b)the conduct of examinations, including the terms and conditions of office and appointment of examiners;(c)the conditions of residence of students and their general discipline;(d)the procedures for the settlement of disputes between the employees and the University, or between the students and the University;(e)maintenance of discipline among the students of the University;(f)regulation of the conduct and the duties of the employees of the University and regulation of the conduct of the students of the University;(g)the categories of misconduct for which action may be taken under this Act or the Statutes or the Ordinances; and(h)any other matter which, by or under this Act or the Statutes, is to be or may be, provided for by the Ordinances.
