State of Maharashtra - Subsection

Section 59(1)(a) in The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Act, 1998

(a)There shall be a Library Committee for administering, organising and maintaining the libraries and library services of the University. It shall consist of the following members, namely:-
(i)the Vice-Chancellor - Chairperson
(ii)three Deans of faculties, nominated by the Vice-Chancellor;
(iii)three Heads of University institutions or departments, nominated by the Vice-Chancellor;
(iv)two teachers, nominated by the Academic Council from amongst its members;
(v)the Registrar;
(vi)the Librarian - Secretary;
