Section 1228(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)The rules regulating the travelling allowances of police officers summoned to give evidence in criminal and civil cases will be found in S. Rs. 150-151 of the Fundamental Rules. The responsibility for enforcing the orders therein contained rests on the head of the office.
