Section 47(12) in The Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006
(12)Roads, Buildings, Bridges, Ferries, Waterways and other means of communication-(i)Construction and maintenance of public roads, drains, culverts and other means of communications which are not under the control of any other local authority or the Government;(ii)Maintenance of any building or other property vested in the Panchayat Samiti;(iii)Maintenance of boats, ferries and waterways.
