Section 320(1) in The Chhattisgarh Municipalities Act, 1961
(1)Any police officer may arrest any person who commits any offence under this Act or any rule or bye-law made thereunder-(a)if the name and address of the person are unknown to him; and(b)if the person declines to give his name and address or there is reason to doubt the accuracy of the name and address given.
