Section 37(1) in Uttarakhand Open University Act, 2005
(1)Except as otherwise provided by or under this Act every employee of the University including a teacher of the University may be appointed under a written contract and such contract shall not be inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, the Statutes and the Ordinances.
