Section 10 in Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission (Licensing) Regulations, 2005

10. Objections and Suggestions.

(1)Any Person intending to object to the grant of the licence shall file objections by way of affidavit within thirty days from the date of publication of the notice referred to in Regulation 9(l)(a) annexing thereto proof of having served copy of such objections upon the Applicant. The objections shall be addressed to the Designated Officer. Upon receipt of such objections, the Designated Officer shall imprint the reference number of the concerned licence application on the same and shall file such objections in the file relating to the concerned licence.
(2)The Designated Officer shall serve a copy of all the objections received by him on the applicant within one week of its receipt.
(3)The applicant may file his comments on the objections or suggestions received in response to the notice within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the objections from the Designated Officer.
(4)The State Transmission Utility shall, within thirty days from the date of receipt of the copy of the application, send its recommendations, if any, to the Commission.Provided such recommendations shall not be binding on the Commission.
