1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the U.P. Electricity (Duty) Act, 1952.(2)It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh.(3)It shall come into force on such [date] [The Act came into force on January 15th, 1953, vide Notification No. 4389-EL/XXIII-D-319-EL-52, dated December 30, 1952, published in U.P.
