(2)The Board of Governors may appoint any member of the academic staff working in any other university/institute or organisation as National Professor/ Professor/ Distinguished Scientist, Visiting Professors on a teaching/research assignment or for undertaking a project or any other work on such terms and conditions as may be determined by the Board of Governors in accordance with the manner specified by the Statutes.
