Section 38(38) in The Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions of Tariff) Regulations, 2005
38.2In case the payment of bills is delayed beyond a period of two (2) months from the date of billing, a late payment surcharge at the rate of 1.25 per cent per month shall be allowed to be levied by the Generating Company.
