(g)be fitted at the open end, with a suitable grating or cover admitting the free passage of air.(ii)[ Joints. - Every joint in such pipe shall be made in the manner and with the suitable joining materials as prescribed in Section IX on Plumbering Services of National Building Code of India.] [Substituted by Chandigarh Administration Gazzette dated 22.1.1993.](iii)Such a pipe shall not be connected with any rain water pipe or with any waste pipe.(iv)There shall be no trap in such pipe, or between such pipe and any drain, with which it is connected;(v)Such pipe shall be constructed so as to be water tight and be capable of resisting a pressure of five feet head of water.
