Section 1 in Visvesvaraya Technological University Act, 1994
1. Short title and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the [Visvesvaraya] [Substituted by Act 10 of 2006 w.e.f. 2.5.2006.] Technological University Act, 1994.(2)It shall come into force on such [date] [The Act has come into force on 01.04.1998 by notification. The text of the notification is at the end of the Act.] as the State Government may by notification in the Official Gazette appoints.
