(2)It extends to the whole of [Uttar Pradesh] [ Substituted by the ALO 1950 for the words "The United Province"] except the areas specified in the First Schedule of the United Provinces Tenancy Act, 1939, and the pargana of Kaswar Raja in the district of Banaras.
