56. Repeal and savings.
(1)On the commencement of this Act, the Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishva Vidyalaya Act, 1978 (30 of 1978) and Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan Act, 1986 (6 of 1986) shall stand repealed.(2)Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the Act repealed under sub-section (1), shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act as if this Act had come into force on the day on which such thing was done or action taken.
