Section 5(2) in The Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets (Election to Market Committees), Rules 1961
(2)The election programme shall be published not less than seven days before the date fixed for filing the nomination papers :-(a)by pasting a copy at the office of the District Panchayat Officer, the Market Committee of the area and at such other conspicuous places in the notified market area as may be determined by the Deputy Commissioner in this behalf; and(b)by supplying a copy to each Panchayat in the notified market area.
