(1)There shall be constituted a Planning Board of the University for-(a)preparing long term and short term plans and programmes for the development of the University; and(b)for evaluating the progress of the plans and programmes periodically.(2)The constitution, powers and functions of the Planning Board, the manner of appointment and the term of office of its members shall be prescribed by the Statutes.
